Real Seal immediately dispatched someone to investigate the crack that regularly leaks water into my basement. So they promptly sent a technician over to seal it. I was going out of state on business and needed to do this and they did (although that's fine with me, keep in mind this was in the winter which is not the busiest time of year).

We asked for a quote for the installation of a basement exit window. However, despite numerous emails and phone calls to the main office, we never received a written offer from the representative. Instead, he seemed more interested in offering much more expensive services for cracks in the conservatory wall and arranging a meeting with the structural consultant. I found the experience I shared with management (with other more specifics) to be very frustrating and they were very sympathetic in trying to rehabilitate the experience. However, we had already found another provider that was excellent. We interviewed several other vendors and their representatives were very courteous, responsive and respectful, so this Real Seal experience really caught our attention.

Well, our house is more watertight than it was 30 years ago when we bought it... and it's expected to stay that way for another 30 years. All the work mentioned was carried out during 3 visits over approximately 18 months; but none of the visits required more than a single day. Work was conveniently scheduled and workers were always on time; if not 15 minutes earlier. One year after our last job (the polyjacking) was carried out, The Real Seal even sent a technician at my request, but at no cost, to replace/replace some concrete plugs in those polyjack holes that had probably burst due to outside temperature changes.

Of the three basement sealing experts we called to offer solutions after putting too much water in our 1925 basement, Joe of The Real Seal was the only one who took the time to seriously investigate the cause. He even came back a second time after we got more water elsewhere to see what could be the cause and what a cheap fix would be. Also, the price was right! We never felt pressured to commit to work and they seemed confident in their abilities to get the job done. Our partial interior drain tile job was completed in two days. While we cannot yet guarantee the effectiveness of the drain tile as we haven't had a major spring rain yet and we are still renovating our basement after being submitted for this job, we hope to have a dry basement!

It went well. George, Cesar and Carlos did a great job. They had to dig up part of my front yard, but they cleared the area so you won't even notice. Real Seal has done several jobs for me and I've never had a problem. They are friendly, professional and reliable. Their prices are reasonable. I would recommend them to everyone.

Austin and his team were great. The Real Seal team is professional, courteous and punctual. They gave accurate estimates, deadlines and real solutions. Replacing the sump pit created a mess as they basically had to dig a new pit. The staff did a great job cleaning up. When the crew was gone you would never know they were there. We have used The Real Seal in the past when we needed an additional sump and internal drain panel on the opposite side of the house. We have had minor water ingress problems for many years and have been unable to determine the cause. Austin took the time to troubleshoot the issues, determined the root cause, and came up with a great solution. We've had no problems and lots of heavy rain in the last few years since the work was completed. Without the work of The Real Seal, we would definitely have water issues. We have used The Real Seal in the past and if we have any issues they are working on we will definitely be using them in the future.

I've had 5-6 companies figure out why my basement easily leaks during heavy rain. None of these companies actually did a water test to see why the water got in. Jerry from the Real Seal yes. He took the time to thoroughly diagnose the problem and showed me how the water got in. Unfortunately, his company's solution was to caulk a $2 door frame. That said, if I have a real leak problem or know someone who does, I recommend Real Seal.

It went really well. They work harder than I thought and used a sealant (gray) that didn't match our house color (white) or the concrete stairwell. We were planning on scrapping it anyway so it's not a big deal in the end. We like Real Seal and would use them again.

RealSeal has about 950 square feet in my basement. They also installed a robust waterproof membrane around that periphery. To do this they had to cut the bottom 2-4 feet of drywall and the studs in 2 rooms downstairs and dispose of the debris. The ONLY reason I don't give them 100% quality is that when replacing the cement and rebuilding the slab for my tub they didn't level the slab which resulted in difficult adjustments as my tub is extremely heavy and difficult to move. to push. Aside from the plate issue, the workers were professional in their own way and it appears that RealSeal provided them with very good equipment and conditions; they really seemed to enjoy their job. Jose, the foreman, was extremely helpful in answering all my questions. And Dan, the salesperson, was also great at answering my many, many questions. The video on the RealSeal website was a good resource for me to visualize the project. I would definitely recommend RealSeal.

I have reached out to several companies to provide an estimate of the potential work we are considering for our home. I appreciated the pre-booking communication for confirmation and they were on time. Compared to others who gave estimates, I felt these guys were the most authentic. Told me what work needed to be done and what would just be a waste of money. It felt like an honest assessment. And when they wrote the proposal for the work they would recommend, the price was very competitive compared to others for what they defined as the possible scope of work. I don't have a critical need that needs to be met right now, but if I decide to do the work, I'll call these people.
